        A: Oh, I forgot to bring the insect repellent.
        B: Never mind, I don’t think there will be any bugs at this time of year.
        A: 哎呀！我忘了带驱虫剂了。
        B: 没关系。我想这个时候应该没什么虫子吧。

        A: Tom is a real man of straw. His beliefs are not very strong, and he does not think through very much.
        B: Yes, he does seem to be a bit of an empty shell.

        insect repellent: 驱虫剂。
        never mind: 某事不重要，没有关系，不要记在心上。
        a man of straw: 愿意是指稻草人。放在田间吓鸟的稻草人通常是无效的，因此这个短语用来形容某人无能或软弱，无法自己做决定或容易被他人影响。
        think through: 彻底地全面考虑。
        an empty shell: 形容某人性格上软弱、虚弱。也可以形容感情上凄凉、空寂。
