08月06日：Any fool could tell she was lying.傻子都能看出来她在撒谎。
1.lie：v. 说谎
n. 谎言
例如：I can't lie to myself, I don't want to lie to you.（我不能对自己撒谎。我也不愿对你撒谎。）
I detest people who deceive and tell lies.（我憎恶那些欺骗和说谎的人。）
08月07日：I feel like a new man.我觉得好像脱胎换骨了。
1.feel like a new man：觉得精神焕发，感到有如新生一般
例如：After your vacation, you'll feel like a new man.（度假后，你会感到精神焕发。）
Have something cool to drink, and you'll feel like a new man.（喝点凉的东西，你会感到有如新生一般。）
08月08日：I’ll make up a prescription for you.我给你开一张药方。
1.make up a prescription ：配药，调剂
例如：The chemist make a mistake when make up the prescription.（药剂师配错了药。）
The pharmacist made up a prescription.（药剂师照处方配了一剂药。）
08月09日：Desire has no rest.人的欲望无止境。
1.desire：n. 欲望；要求，心愿
例如：The desire was irresistible.（这种欲望是不可遏止的。）
