今天我们要给大家介绍两个美国人经常用来指好朋友的字。大家可能都已经很熟悉英文里的friend这个字，friend的意思就是朋友。但是，美国人还有一些比较口语化的说法。一个很普遍的字就是：buddy。
Buddy这个字在军队里特别普遍，但是一般平民用的也非常多。 Buddy这个字已经有一百五十多年的历史了，它是来自brother这个字，因此，buddy这个字可以说是指那些和你亲如兄弟一样的朋友。比如说，一个曾经参加过越南战争的美国退伍军人难以忘怀他在战争中的经历，他说：
