By keeping together and sharing knowledge, they are less likely to get lost. It's a matter of follow-the-leader, but all it takes is one false move and it can all go horribly wrong. Alone, the ice maze seems strangely disorientating. He calls, but his voice is lost on the wind. His companions continue without him. He escapes the maze, but it's too late. He must attempt the journey alone.
Hardened by battle, the rockhoppers stage one more assault. In the race to the top, one penguin catches a ride. With the tide receding, the cliff path seems safer. But appearances can be deceptive. He's caught in a trap and the sea isn't finished yet. He makes it.
