The Long March 2F rocket for China’s Shenzhou Ten Spacecraft has begun its journey from Beijing to the launch centre.
The rocket will travel by train to the Jiuquan Launch site in Northern China’s Gansu province. The rocket is 58 meters long and has 8 parts. Its developers will escort it all the way to the site, inspecting it three times every day. The train has inspection windows just for this purpose.
The Shenzhen 10 Spacecraft is planned to be launched between June and August this year. Three astronauts will travel aboard the spacecraft to dock with the Tiangong One space station.
