　　近日，多家饭店启动“光盘行动，从我做起”活动，通过提供半份菜、小份菜、热菜拼盘、晒空盘有奖等，鼓励顾客“减少舌尖上的浪费”。与此同时，餐后晒空盘在网络上也悄然流行，不少人表示以身为“光盘族”骄傲。

                　　北京已有近750家饭店加入 “光盘行动”，通过提供小份菜减少食物浪费。
       
       
                　　“Clear your plate” campaign就是“光盘行动”，to clear your plate即“把盘子里的东西都吃光”，类似的用法还有to clear the table(清理桌子)，to clear the snow(清扫积雪)等。为了减少food wasting(食物浪费)，国外有些餐馆还规定如果不能把盘子里的食物都吃光就需要pay extra(多付钱)。
       
       
                　　不少饭店都开始提供半份菜(half-portioned dishes)、小份菜(smaller dishes)，以及拼盘菜(assorted dishes)以减少浪费，同时鼓励顾客将剩菜打包带走(take leftovers home)。
