【节目介绍】
流行美语是一档关于美国日常生活的常用语、短语的节目。节目内容比较轻松，具有趣味性，讲解一些常见的单词，但是却是一些我们不太了解的意思，穿插各种情景和人物对话，因而生动有趣。节目更新频率为一天一期，每次大约为5分钟，内容比较简单，适合初学者学习。音频材料为中英双语，只需要听写英文部分。
特别提示：文中Michael 为男声，Li Hua为女声，只需听写男生的英文对话部分即可，只听写Michael说的英文部分哦！！！中文部分不需要听写！！！
【今日情景】
在这个节目里，我们要请大家听Michael 和李华的对话，大家现在肯定都已经很熟悉Michael和李华这两个在纽约上大学的学生了。今天Michael提前下班，在路上碰到李华。李华会学到两个常用语： to slack off和peon。

L: 虽然说是放假，可是我本来打算利用假期多读些英文书，我要是这么懒散，恐怕连一本书也读不完了。
M: I wish it were holiday all the time, so I could always slack off.
L: 什么？你想每天都放假，那你就可以老这么轻松的了？嘿，Michael，我们中文里常说："一张一驰"。Slack off一段时间以后，你就应该努力工作啦！

M: Well, maybe you are easy to replace. But that's no reason for you to feel like a peon.
L: 你说得对，我不应该自己觉得我做的工作不重要，而且，想想看，我们大学校长或是你们公司老板恐怕当年也做过好一段时间的peon呢！ |
