With a new poll showing him trailing by 15 points ahead of Tuesday's Florida Republican primary, Newt Gingrich is slamming Mitt Romney for carpet-bombing his record. While Romney has spent all day sharply attacking Gingrich, this weekend he’s refocused his criticism on President Barack Obama.
Drivers involved in a series of deadly crashes on Interstate 75 in Florida say they were blinded by heavy smoke and fog. Florida highway Patrol says at least nine people were killed in pile-ups on both sides of the highway south of Gainesville.
Officials say it could take seven to ten months to remove a stricken cruise ship off Italy's coast. Rough seas also forced delay in the start of operation to remove half a million gallons of fuel.
And an evangelical church in Columbia really rocks out with its heavy metal service. The 31-year-old pastor says his piercing and tattoos are not obstacle to communication with higher power.
