The five provinces in the southwest China includingYunnan, Guizhou,
Sichuan, Guangxi and Chongqing are suffering the severe drought due to the high
temperature and rainless weather during this spring, which also directly caused
the incredible long period of drought from last autumn to this spring in Yunnan
Province. It’s a disaster, and it is a once-in-a-century drought. However, as
the approaching of Songkran Festival, which is a traditional festival dated from
thousands of years ago, some people question that: can we sprinkle the priceless
water in drought days like these?
