美国情报部门对美联社表示,在爆炸现场又发现至少2个爆炸物,目前已被成功拆除。对于这起爆炸的性质,美国警方正在加紧调查中。

据路透社消息,一名白宫官员在当地时间15日表示,白宫尚不清楚是何人计划并实施了波士顿马拉松赛爆炸事件,但正在按“恐怖行为”进行处理。(中新网)
美国总统奥巴马目前已对该起事件表态:美国目前不知道“是谁做的或者为什么要这么做”,但是我们发誓不论是谁该为此次事件负责,我们都将让其受到正义的制裁。

WASHINGTON - US President Barack Obama, responding to the explosions at the
Boston Marathon, says the United States does not know "who did this or why" but
vowed that whoever is responsible "will feel the full weight of justice."
He said: "We will find out who did this and we will hold them
accountable."

Obama made his remarks Monday evening from the White House about three
hours after two explosions detonated near the marathon's finish line. At least
two people were killed and 50 injured in the blasts.
Obama has been in touch with federal law enforcement and Massachusetts
officials in the aftermath of the explosions.
The Secret Service reacted cautiously to the blasts, expanding the security
perimeter around the White House. |
