  六级作文题目:
  It is unwise to judge a person by appearance/to put all eggs into one basket/to jump to conclusions upon seeing or hearing something.
  其中挑选“以貌取人是不明智的”这一篇给出参考作文:
  It’s unwise to judge a person by appearance
  Mushrooms with bright colors usually appears to be poisonous. This implicates that the appearance is not always consistent with the inner characteristics. This principle also applies to the situation when we create expectations about someone merely according to the appearance, which is unwise.
  When Susan Boyle standing at the stage of Talent Show in UK, what’s the reaction of the audiences and judges? They looked at the plain Jane and laughed at her, and judges kept questioning her. However, the moment Susan started singing the melody flowed from her mouth. Everyone were astounded, with audiences standing ovation and judges praising unanimously. This case vividly depicts the irrationality of judging people by their appearances. Appearance can be deceiving. Especially in the field of employment, this kind of behavior may lead to the consequence that employers may miss the chance of hiring a competent but ill-looking employee.
  In conclusion, can we focus more on what’s going on inside a person rather than the outside? We must be accountable for how we treat others and stop making assumptions and judging others by their appearance.
