As the picture shows, people are crossing the street looking at their cell phonesand using sticks in order to see. The meaning behind the picture is that a growingnumber of individuals overuse the mobile phone in contemporary society.
The overuse of mobile phone has a far-reaching impact on every aspect of modern life. To begin with, an increasing number of people use mobile phone communication instead of face-to-face contact and this leads to indifference among the whole society. Besides, the overuse of cellphone can sometimes be a waste of time. Students playing mobile phone games in classrooms and office workers using cell phone to chat and shop at working hour can be seen everywhere.
From what has been discussed above, certain measures should be taken. First of all, we should start with ourselves and limit the excessive use of cell phones. Then, the government should advocate face-to-face contact among the general public. Only in this way can our society be more warm and harmonious.
