动词suggest 及其过去式suggested 后面只能跟动名词和that引导的宾语从句，而不能跟不定式。英语不存在suggest/suggested to do sth的句型。在that引导的从句中，要用虚拟语气，由should表示，但是也可以省略should。“几位”可以用a few, some或several表示 。“居民”可以用inhabitant, resident或dweller表示。“小区”就是“居住小区”，可以用resident area, residential area, residential district, residential quarters 或living quarters表示。“禁止”的施事者无法准确说出，最好用被动语态。“遛狗”用walk one' s dog表示。其施事者一般是狗的主人，即dog-owner。但是也不尽然，有时由保姆或别人来做这件事。其施事者用泛指的people比较好。例如：
