英语学习者最先接触到的连词，恐怕非and莫属。它用于连接单词或句子中的并列部分，有“和、与、同”之义。总结起来，and主要有以下几种用法：表语义增补：He has two books and three pens.

表顺序：He came in and took his coat off.

表评注：She always looks down on others, and I don’t like this.
表目的：She will come and see me tomorrow. (主要用于go, come,try,stay等动词前，代替to)

表差别：I like city life but there are cities and cities.
还需要注意的是， “good/nice/fine + and + 形容词 (或副词)” 是一个强调句式，常用于口语。good/nice/fine +
and有“很，非常”的意思，相当于 very 的作用。例如：
