As pleased as punch是用来形容一个人十分高兴，开心的样子。它起源于英国17世纪风靡至今的传统木偶剧《Punch and
Judy》。在剧中，Judy的丈夫Punch是一个非常喜欢惹是生非的人，经常策划阴谋。他把时间都用在计划一系列的邪恶事件上，当他的阴谋得逞后，他就会大摇大摆地炫耀自己。因此，as
pleased aspunch就表示“十分高兴”，尤其是指“自满”。

orchid.
他真是个大笨蛋，竟然不知道我钟爱的花是兰花。

A bean brain的字面意思是“一个豆子那么大的脑袋”，比喻“(一个人)笨得要命”“白痴，蠢材”的意思。
