Fast Food
Fast food is becoming more and more popular in China, especially among
children and teenagers. Today, nothing is more representative of the fast pace
of modern society than fast food. There are several reasons for its popularity.
First, it is quick and convenient. Go into a fast food restaurant, and your food
will be ready in a minute. You can satisfy your hunger instantly. Precious time
won't be wasted in waiting-in-line to order or waiting at your table for your
food to arrive. Second, its popularity is also attributed to the clean food, the
excellent service and the comfortable environment of the fast food
restaurant.
However, I think that fast food isn't healthy enough because it does not
compose a balanced diet and is low in nutrition. Doctors suggest that people
should avoid eating too much fast food. Although home cooking is time-consuming
and following washing-up is tiresome, it offers healthy and delicious meals your
body likes and needs.

快餐在中国，尤其是儿童和青少年人群中越来越受欢迎。今天，没有什么比快餐更能代表当代社会的快节奏了。快餐受欢迎有几点原因，其一是它又快又便利。走进一家快餐店，你的食物一两分钟内就可以拿到手了，你可以立即品尝你点的汉堡。珍贵的时间不会被浪费在排队或坐在桌前等着食物被送来。其二，干净的食物、优质的服务和舒适的用餐环境也造就了快餐的人气。
然而，我认为快餐不够健康，它的饮食结构不平衡，营养也少。医生建议大家避免吃太多快餐。虽然在家做饭费时还需要洗碗，但它可以给你提供身体喜欢且需要的健康美味饮食。
