2、Man will never conquer space.
3、Such a statement may sound absurd,
4、after we have made such long strides into space.
5、Yet it expresses a truth that our forefathers knew

9、Our age is in many ways unique,

36、We know that he is only hours away by air,
37、and we have merely to reach for the telephone to hear his voice.
38、When the satellite communication network is fully established,
39、it will be as easy to see friends on the far side of the earth
40、as to talk to them on the other side of the town.
41、Then the world will shrink no more.
42、From a world that has become too small,
43、we are moving out into one that will be forever too large,
44、whose frontiers will recede from us
45、always more swiftly than we can reach out toward them.
