well在句中单独使用，用以接续或改变话题。other than意为“除了”，表示后面的内容不包含在内。one dayis as good as
the next字面意思为“某一天和第二天一样好”，引申为“任何一天都行”。
英语四级考点归纳:
在口语中，表“除了”含义的除other than之外，还有:
※ except意为“除了……之外”，表示后面所说的内容不包含在前者的范围内。
如：The shop is open every day except Tuesday.这家商店除星期二外每天都营业。
※ besides表示“除……以外，(还)”，相当于in addition to。
分别举例如下:
Besides English, they also study math, physics and
chemistry.除了英语以外，他们还学习数学、物理和化学。
It is a job requirement to learn English in addition to French.除了法语，还要学习
英语，这是工作需要。
※ apart from表示“除^之外”。根据上下文的不同，它的用法既可以与besides相同，也可以与except相同。
如:Apart from them, I had no one to talk to. ( =except)除了他们以外，我没有人可倾诉
Apart from other considerations, time is also a factor. ( =besides
)除了别的考虑因素之外，时间也是一个因素。
