高考英语高分必备：danger的用法说明
1. 泛指一般意义的“危险”，通常是不可数名词;表示做某事的危险，其后通常接of doing sth，而不接不定式。如：The children didn’t realize the danger of swimming in the river.
孩子们没有意识到在这河里游泳的危险。
She has been warned of the danger of driving the car in that state.
已经告诉过她，汽车这个样子开起来有危险。
有时后接in doing sth，表示在做某事过程中的危险。如：
Is there any danger in climbing the tree? 爬这树有危险吗?
2. 比较：in danger意为“在危险中”，in danger of意为“有……的危险”。如：
His life is in danger. 他有生命危险。
He is in danger of losing his life. 他有生命危险。
We’re in danger of being hit by a stone. 我们有被石头砸的危险。
3. 表示具体意义的造成危险的原因或人(物)等，或指威胁、危害等，是可数名词。如：
The man is a danger to society. 这个人对社会是个危险人物。
It will awaken society to the dangers of drugs. 它将唤醒社会警惕毒品的危害。
表示做某事的危害，其后也通常接of doing sth。如：
The doctor alerted me to the danger of not getting enough sleep.
医生提醒我注意睡眠不足的危害。
