同学们在做大学英语四六级阅读的时候，明明觉得里面没有不认识的单词，但还是觉得文章读得似懂非懂，做题也做不对答案，问题出在哪儿呢？文都教育大学英语四六级名师结合多年的教学经验，分析得出很大一部分原因在于同学们在做题时没有弄清楚文章的逻辑关联，包括句子之间的关联和段落之间的关联。
如何弄清句子之间的关联呢？
在阅读中，要使自己的思想跟上作者的思路，就要掌握逻辑上的关联词语。了解这些关联词语，就好像熟悉途中的各种路标一样，如果路标告诉你，应该转弯了，而你却仍然一直往前走，就会误入迷途。这些表示连续和意思转折的单词或短语，可以提前告诉你是应该继续往前走，还是转弯。如见到but，我们就知道后面的句子是表示转折；见到what’s more，就知道后面的句子中所说的事情还有递进。所以，学习和掌握逻辑关联词在阅读中的功能，将对提高阅读速度和效果起到关键作用。
1)表示并列关系的逻辑关联词：
and, while, likewise, once again, similar to, also, as well as, both...and..., just like/as等。
2)表示转折关系的逻辑关联词：
but, yet, however, though, whereas, nevertheless, in contrast to, on the contrary, on the other hand等。
3)表示因果关系的逻辑关联词：
so, therefore, thus, because, for, since, as, as a result, owing to, thanks to, due to, on account of, now that, result from, result in, consequently, in consequence, accordingly, hence等。
4)表示顺序关系的逻辑关联词：
时间顺序：before, after, and, at first, first(ly), second(ly), then, next, later,finally, at last, in the end等；
空间顺序：on, in, under, above, below, beside, to behind, in the middle,on the left(right), next to, opposite, over, up, down, on top of, at the bottom等；
重要性顺序：and, also, besides, furthermore, in addition, most important, primary, top, chief等。
5)表示让步关系的逻辑关联词：
though, although, despite, in spite of,even if等。
6)表示条件关系的逻辑关联词：
if, unless, once, provided that, in case (of)等。
7)表示比较关系的逻辑关联词：
also, like, as, same, as...as, similar...to, resemble, likewise, compared with等。
8)表示解释关系的逻辑关联词：
i.e., that is to say, in other words,that is,namely等。
9)表示举例的逻辑关联词：
for example, for instance, to illustrate, such as, take...as an example, a case in point等。
10)表示总结的逻辑关联词：
in a word, in brief, in short, above all, all in all, in general, to sum up, in conclusion等。
弄清了句子之间的逻辑关联，下一步就是弄清段落之间的逻辑关联了。
