But first after pounding Haiti and Cuba, Hurricane Matthew is heading in a northwesterly direction towards the United States. It is expected to move across the Bahamas and reach the east coast of Florida by Thursday evening.近年来罕见的强飓风“马修”(Matthew)重创加勒比地区，已造成至少11人死亡，目前正向美国东南沿海逼近。佛罗里达州、佐治亚州、南卡罗来纳州和北卡罗来纳州等地宣布进入紧急状态，要求数以百万计沿海居民加紧防范，做好撤离准备。
