But first the Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta has announced his resignation, following a mass demonstration over a nightclub fire on Friday that killed more than 30 people. In a statement, Mr Ponta said he hoped this would satisfy those who had demanded his departure.
"I have an obligation towards the people's constant legitimate discontent and their legitimate wish to extend the responsibility for the fire beyond the owners of the club. People wish for more and it would have been a big mistake to ignore this. I don't want and I don't think it will be correct to leave this responsibility to those who worked during the night of the fire. I'm ready to do what part of society is expecting, so today I'm resigning and this includes, of course, the resignation of the entire Romanian government."
Dan Damon asked the Romanian journalist Sorana Stanescu who's in Bucharest for more details.
"He handed in his mandate. These were the words he used that automatically means that he resigned and all the members of the government, all the ministers also resigned."
