第一届四川麻将大赛举行 原来老外也爱麻将
The final competition of the first Sichuan Mahjong Grand Prix kicks off in
Chengdu, capital of southwest China’s Sichuan Province, November 4, 2016.
2016年11月4日，第一届四川麻将大奖赛总决赛在四川成都举行。
The 256 finalists from seven countries and regions stood out from about
10,000 participants during competitions over the last two months.
在过去两个月的比赛里，来自7个国家和地区的256名选手从10000多人中脱颖而出，获得了决赛资格。
Mahjong originated from China in the 17th century. Commonly played by four
players, the game is popular throughout eastern and southeastern Asia and has a
small following in the West.
麻将起源于17世纪的中国。一般由四个人一起玩，麻将在整个东亚和东南亚地区都非常受欢迎，在西方也有一小批真爱粉。
Similar to the Western card game of Rummy, Mahjong is a game of skill,
strategy and calculation, in addition to a degree of chance.
麻将和西方的拉米纸牌游戏有点类似，也是一种包含了技巧、策略和计算的游戏，除此之外还需要一点点运气。
