Actually, I am a great fan of TV series from my years of junior middle school. I watched TV series of Korea, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore and I did not watch American TV series until I entered college. In my college years, I spent much of my time watching American and British TV series like Friends, The Big Bang Theory, Gossip girls, Nikita, The Vampire Diaries and so on. Recently, I have been watching Breaking Bad and I just finished Season 3. I start to watch it just because of its great reputation that it received numerous awards, including ten Primetime Emmy Awards, eight Satellite Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and a People's Choice Award. The show's main character is Walter White, a struggling high school chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with lung cancer at the beginning of the series. In order to secure his family's financial future before he dies, he turns to a life of crime, teaming with his former student, Jesse Pinkman. That is to say, he uses his talent and wisdom to produce and sell methamphetamine of high quality, which can be regarded as the best. As to the question whether Walter White is breaking bad, every audience has his or her answer. As for me, I am definitely amazed at his unparallel charisma as a man of strong will, great talent and high sense of responsibility.

Among all the American TV series I have watched, Friends is my favorite. Not only does it help me better understand American culture and improve my spoken English, but also it shows me the ordinary happiness in our days.
When it comes to English materials for listening and spoken English, Friends is absolutely the first choice. Ross's articulate words, Chandler's jokes, Joey's cute simple sentences, Rachel's lovely accent... They are all true English worth learning and mimicing.
However, the more cherishing part is that Friends is a fantasy where I can see the ordinary sweet. That six friends sit down together and talk face to face about the laugh and sorrow of their days is a violent contrast to the scenes of today, where everybody sits before the screens without a word with each other, but with the beeps from somebody at the other end of the radiogram. From their lives I see the color of lives of ordinary people.
Days with Friends/friends reminds me of the value of friendship. Never be isolated, my friends, that's the worst time of your life.
