Clarkson and Nashville-based talent manager Brandon Blackstock got engaged in December 2012 after dating for a year. When Blackstock popped the question, Clarkson called it the "happiest night of my life." The couple are planning to get married on October 20 in Nashville, Tennesse. In February, Clarkson told People that she wanted an outdoor wedding with "earthy" decorations.
