【疑问】
（1）此题非谓语动词inspired,和young Chinese是被动关系，所以只能从B,D选项中产生，因为此句中非谓语动词是做原因状语从句，所以不用Being+done的形式，不知道理解是否正确？
（2） be faced with为固定短语（因为单从意思上，面对和被面对很难区分主动和被动语态）选择从固定搭配的思路着手。所以从being faced和faced中选择答案。我理解用When引导的时间状语从句强调了时间上的概念，应该选择being faced比较合适，答案为什么是C？
【解析】
1. being done 和done的相同之处是都表示被动，不同的是前者强调被动这个动作正在进行，所以到底选用哪个取决于done描述的这个动作是否是正在进行的状态。
2.第二道题的意思是，”遇到强敌时，他们总是退却”，既然是always，说明强调的是一般状态，因此选择的是when faced with。
be faced with这里理解为词组固定搭配（而非被动）更好些。
（补充：这句话也可以这么说when facing a strong enemy, they always retreated.)
3. 有时候用被动语态与其说是要表达被动，不如理解为是因为处于词性需要，比如
Seated comfortably in the sofa, he couldn't help falling asleep.
这里的seated就很难理解成被动，不用seating而用seated是因为seat是及物动词或说固定搭配。
比如及物动词situate,“坐落于”的常用搭配是be situated in some place.
