大家在拿到题目的时候，不论是引言式作文，还是图表作文或是图画作文。您要清楚的是四六级作文考察的是议论文，按照三段式写作，首段通过引言或图表数据或图画提炼出主题，中间段落可以选择使用因果分析法或对比比较法或举例证方法进行论证，结尾段总结主题，提出建议或愿望等;考生在拿到题目不要看到引言作文，图表作文或图画作文就着急，熟悉英语行文结构和常见的论证方法，足以做到心中有数。然后平时的写作练习也很重要。四六级考试对作文中句法要求还是比较高，考生在备考过程中多多积累高分句型，不断修改作文，相信一定能够考出理想分数。
再者，作文中要想写出高分句型需要考生在平时备考中多去阅读高分作文，阅读原版英文，如：四六级图表作文首段需要整体描图，笔者在评阅大学听说读写拔高二级班学生作文中发现，很多同学开篇写到：The chart shows the hours of students’using computers.可以采用The chart provides the data of the time students spend using computers等。
