乐队成员：
Dave Grohl：吉它、主唱 (guitar, vocals) 全名: Dave Eric Grohl现在所在乐队: Foo Fighters 以前所在乐队: NIRVANA Dave Grohl 在10岁时开始学吉他，12岁开始使用电吉他，后参加过一些业余乐队，13岁时受表姐Tracey 影响涉足非主流音乐。1984年参加乐队 Freak Baby，1987年参加乐队 Scream，后参加 Nirvana。他在自己地下室的录音间中进行了大量的录音工作。
Pat Smear：吉它 (guitar) 参加过 Sunny Day Real Estate Nate Mendel：低音吉它 (bass) 购买第一把贝斯不是因为他会演奏，也并非想成为乐手，只不过一个朋友告诉他贝斯是最容易学的乐器。参加的第一支乐队成为 Diddly Squat，1992年加入乐队 Sunny Day Real Estate。 Pat Smear 也参加过 Sunny Day Real Estate
William Goldsmith：鼓 (drums) 在五年级时参加了学校的乐队，开始鼓手生涯，七年级时母亲向他介绍了很多乐队，如 Led Zeppelin,，the Who，Elvis Costello，Talking Heads，Cream，Jethro Tull，等。高中后陆续参加过一些乐队，Screaming Hormones，Reason For Hate，Positive Greed，Chewbacca Kaboom(Sunny Day Real Estate)，Thief Steal Me A Peach。
自NIRVANA解散后，原作为鼓手的DAVE GROHL自组了FOO FIGHTERS，在新乐队里，DAVE操起了吉它，并担任了乐队的主唱。 1995年，FOO FIGHTERS发行了他们的第一张唱片《Foo Fighters》，其风格很象原来的NIRVANA，看来DAVE一时还无法摆脱KURT的阴影。
DAVE在这张专辑中的表现可说不过不失，并没有使大家感到满意，唯一使人知道的是：原来他弹吉它和唱歌都还不错。而1997年FOO FIGHTERS推出的第二张专辑《Mission Impossible》才真正展示了他们的实力，DAVE这次又坐回了鼓手的座位，原来薄弱的地方得到了加强，并且DAVE也从KURT的影响下走了出来，充分展示了他的音乐才华，该专辑也受到了乐评界一致好评。
