Michelle: Captain, you should take a break. The next encounter will be much more taxing.
Colonel Steele: You know what I really admire about you? Your ability to find me in the shortest amount of time no matter where I am hiding.
Michelle: Captain…
Colonel Steele: how is it that the council of elders always come to these unreasonable decisions?
Colonel Steele: why? Why do they think this retreat makes sense? This retreat isn’t necessary, we will only end up losing more ground and more troops.
Michelle: I don’t agree with your viewpoint on this. The withdrawal is for the protection of the Frog Tribe. If we don’t retreat we will end up losing more people than if we do.
Colonel Steele: You know what can end this war quickly?
Colonel Steele: Aggression, the only way we can end this war is to take the offensive. Sitting back and playing passively will not get us anywhere.
Michelle: I understand your strategy, but the people…
Colonel Steele: You have never experienced the heat of battle, been in the thick of the fighting. All you understand is from an abstract view of war and that is not a good basis for what we’re trying to accomplish.
Michelle: you're right. I’ve never been in battle, I’ve never marched to war with a gun on my shoulder. But like you I am doing everything I can to protect our homes, our people, our families. We aren’t here to just fight a war and conquer, otherwise what would separate us from the Blattarians?
Colonel Steele: in matters concerning war, you’re still too immature to understand.
Michelle: is that your idea of a logical answer?
Colonel Steele: yes it is.
Michelle: I think you are taking too strong a stance on this. I’m not some fresh grad from school.
Colonel Steele: I don’t think I am. I’m just standing by what I believe will save our people.
Michelle: ok, we don’t see eye to eye on this decision. But what we do agree on is that the Blattarians must be stopped and that our people need to be protected. So now we need to find the best course of action to do that.
Colonel Steele: I’ve already given you the best solution.
Michelle: the council of elders has already come to a decision on this; they have given the order to retreat.
Michelle: I can understand your current state of mind, I sometimes agree with your way of thinking. When I look out at all the refugees and the suffering that they have had to deal with, I wish that I had the ability to get into an AIU and engage the enemy in battle. But, would that really save these people from pain and suffering?
Colonel Steele: Our AIU teams could help these people.
Michelle: I need to go organize the retreat; it can’t be put off any longer.
Colonel Steele: OK. You lead the retreat.
Michelle: Yes sir.

CZU: Colonel Steele has informed me of Redhill Ridge’s need for resupply. I am to organize the dispatch of reinforcements.
CZU: Your new recruits, how soon will they be ready for combat?
Unknown 2: Tomorrow at 8 a.m. I will give them their orders. For a smooth transition I think it will take roughly two weeks.
Unknown 3: Two weeks?
Unknown 3: That’s too long; can you get them there in one? I’m worried that in two weeks the enemy will have set up a barricade around Redhill Ridge.
Unknown 2: Ah, one week will be tight.
CZU: How are you able to mount these sudden attacks on warships?
Unknown 2: Well, we can jump 1,600 light years 40 times without refueling or repair time. That means we have a radius of 23,000 light years and our battle scope can touch 64,000 light years. At the same time, we are developing improved materials that increase the duration between repair times and also reduce the use of fuel.
CZU: Hummm, how about the shields? At first glance they don’t look to thick?
Unknown 2: This is the frog nation’s first generation bio-chemical shield. It is 50% stronger than the traditional shield types used by Anurian forces with the added benefit of being lighter and easier to use. It allows for faster travel letting us strike the enemy at longer distances.
Unknown 2: I’ve already suggested to the council of elders that we put this unit into mass production. If the Blattarians knew we were capable of this type of technology they would put all efforts into destroying it. The research base that produced this technology is in quadrant N854. , we need to move this to a more secure location; I need you to organize this.
CZU: OK, I have no further questions. Let’s get this into action.
