西方人写日记，开头通常都会写Dear diary，如同写信一样，像是和日记交流，这样就可以写出自己内心的真实感受。

break off：使脱落，与……断绝关系。

帅哥缺缺啊。
real estate 是个词组，含义是房地产，不过这句话里面用的不是这个词组，跟房地产没啥关系，estate有阶层、财产的意思。这句话直译差不多就是帅哥资源太缺啦。

看看凯丽沙滩的浴帘就知道了。
一般老外去沙滩冲洗的时候，如果想要吸引异性的注意，会把浴帘半开。从这句话来看，应该是因为帅哥太少，沙滩美女冲凉的时候都不屑打开浴帘了。

Air Supply Greatest Hits 空气补给乐团的精选是1983年发行的，里面的曲目为看歌名基本都属于失恋疗伤型的，teenager的思维果然是跳跃啊。（听歌：Air Supply: All out of love>>）

no comment 表示不予置评。一般经纪人和发言人被提问的时候常用这句。

这里window的用法比较特别。特别到老外也要去问为啥这么用。某猪看到一个解释，说这个用法最初是从NASA（美国航空航天局）来的。When a space shuttle needs entry from space, it needs a "window" to enable it to re-enter at the exact coordinates to ensure a safe landing that is not in hostile territory. 当航天飞机需要一个入口的时候，就需要有个window来确保飞机能够安全降落在一个精确的坐标上。
有国外网友还说：I've also heard,"I have a window between 2 and 2.45, I could see you then" Why they can't just say in plain english, "I could see you at 2pm." I'll never know. 我还听过“我2点到2:45有空，那时候可以见面”，为啥不能直接说，“我两点能见你”，一直搞不明白。有解释说这个用法是年轻人常用的，不过某猪在BBC的新闻标题中也看到两篇用six-hour window的，现在这个用法应该也逐渐被接受了吧。
说到这个window，某猪想起汉语里一个人没有 in relationship 的时候，就叫做空窗期，用的也是“窗”，其中的思维应该还是挺像的吧。

Pete Wents 哈，你看了多少年的TRL啊，Carson Daly的粉丝啊？
Pete Wentz是美国乐团Fall Out Boy的贝斯手、第二主唱，同时也是主要的作词者。Carson Daly 是美国NBC的电视节目主持人，主持一个叫Last Call with Carson Daly 的节目，采访过Pete Wentz。在此之前，做过TRL节目的VJ。这句话从上下文来看，是Ty告诉vicki 节目Last Call with Carson Daly的剧情。Jeremy 笑他看这个节目。

希区柯克有部电影名叫The birds （鸟），台湾知名主持蔡康永主持第一届台湾金马奖的时候，还特地参考这部电影的剧照在肩膀上放了只乌鸦。

Jenna显然还没有到给这么大俩孩子当妈的年龄，她的意思是假装端起家长的样子来说句话，过过家长的瘾。所以Elena才说她“干得好”。

Dear diary, i couldn't have been more wrong. I thought that i could smile, nod my way through it, pretend like it would all be ok. I had a plan. 这段日记拿来做做模仿练习不错。
某猪观后感：相遇这个名字是我乱起的（众：你以为梁祝开场啊，还私塾咧~~），Caroline一出场就是一活脱脱的DQ=drama queen 啊，男主角跟暮色是同款，果然是搭着暮色的吸血鬼风么（为啥moonlight 的Michael 同学就那么苦命），不过看了第一集还是觉得男猪不太有个性，反而他哥Demon的反派比较出彩诶。不知道这兄弟俩有啥孽缘，且听编剧下回分解了。
