obsession是obsess“迷住、困惑”的名词形式，解释为“着迷的事物”。
例句：His obsession with computers began six months ago. 他半年前就迷上了计算机了。
【104】词组搭配：My reaction on the field set him off.
set sb. off是个常用的口语词组，意思是激怒某人，惹怒某人。
这里是指爱德华的表现惹了詹姆斯的狩猎欲望。
【105】背景介绍：We'll get a ferry to Vancouver.
