“泰坦尼克号”的配乐，是由詹姆斯·霍纳这位五度提名奥斯卡、四度提名金球三度赢得葛莱美奖最佳电影音乐的配乐大师全新巨献，继“英雄本色”、“阿波罗13号”、“爱国者游戏”之后又一荡气回肠、浪漫动人精彩巨作！
这回詹姆斯·霍纳在片中以苏格兰风笛悠扬非凡的唯美乐音为主干有如置身苏格兰原野，加上天籁美声挪威当红民谣才女西丝儿·凯嘉波穿梭于电影主题之间，仿佛是这一切悲剧最终的救赎，将悲伤升华无形！当然詹姆斯·霍纳谱曲编排更是居功蹶伟，从前半部以中快行进，洋溢希望欢乐调性，一点一点蕴酿出企磅礴的启航曲“Leaving Port”（启航的时段），以及“Take Her To Sea, Mr. Murdoch”（麦尔特先生，带她去看海）而后却又急转直下用急促的弦乐演译出情势告急的“The Sinking”。透过乐曲巧妙地铺陈出喜悦、悲伤与重生，我们亦如剧中人得到情感上的洗涤。
主题曲“My Heart Will Go On”（爱无止尽~藏在大海的记忆深处）由歌坛天后席琳狄翁Celine Dion深情演唱，娓娓道出那段遭逢险阻的爱情传奇！所以“泰坦尼克号”不只是一部灾难电影，且是一张爱不释手的发烧天碟，更是一则撼动人心的爱情寓言！
