According to TVLine, the Walking Dead spin-off will be set in Los Angeles.据TVLine报道，《行尸走肉》衍生剧将会在洛杉矶开拍。
Earlier this month, AMC announced that the companion series will star Gang Related alum Cliff Curtis as Sean Cabrera, a divorced teacher and father. Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey will play the children of Sean's co-worker, Nancy Tompkins, who has yet to be cast.本月初，AMC电视台宣布这部衍生剧将由《Gang Related》男演员Cliff Curtis来扮演男主Sean Cabrera的角色，他是一个离婚老师，同时还是个父亲。Frank Dillane和Alycia Debnam Carey将会再剧中扮演Sean同时的孩子Nancy Tompkins，目前这个角色还未被确认。
Production on the pilot will begin in early 2015.预计试播集将会在2015年初开拍。
