"The Walking Dead" fans don't have to worry about the show having an end in sight. While some writing teams come in with a set-season plan, David Alpert says "The Walking Dead" can go on for as long as Robert Kirkman's comic book series.《行尸走肉》粉丝们不用担心会很快看到这部剧结局了。剧组编剧队伍的一些人已经透露了他们的计划，制片人David Alpert说，只要Robert Kirkman《行尸走肉》漫画不停，电视剧就会一直拍下去。
"I happen to love working from source material, specifically because we have a pretty good idea of what Season 10 is gonna be. We know where Season 11 and 12 ," Alpert says. Currently the show is shooting Season 5, and as one of the top-viewed shows on cable, chances are AMC won't be canceling it any time soon. The network also is currently developing a spinoff series that is not specifically based on Kirkman's comics.目前《行尸走肉》第五季的拍摄工作正在进行中，这部电视剧作为收费台收看人数最多的美剧之一，AMC电视台近期肯定是不会砍掉它的。而且电视台最近还在开发这部剧的衍生剧，不过衍生剧将可能不会和Kirksman的原著漫画有任何关系。
