莎士比亚十四行诗:时间的镰刀没人能够阻挡

When I do count the clock that tells the time
          And see the brave day sunk in hideous night,
          我数着报时的钟声,
          看着大好的白昼陷入夜晚;
          Hideous
          [英][ˈhɪdiəs][美][ˈhɪdiəs]
          adj.令人惊骇的; 极其丑陋的,可怕的; 丑恶的,讨厌的; 媸
          When I behold the violet past prime
          And sable curls all silvered o'er with white,
          我看到紫罗兰开过了全盛,
          一层银白罩上了貂黑的发鬈;
          silvered
          ['sɪlvəd]
          镀银的,饰以银的,银白色的
          When lofty trees I see barren of leaves,
          Which erst from heat did canopy the herd,
          我看见曾为牧群遮荫的高树,
          如今树叶已经完全脱光,
          lofty
          ['lɒftɪ]
          a.高耸的,巍峨的,高尚的,傲慢的
          Erst
          [ɜ:st]
          adv.以前,往昔的;
          And summer's green all girded up in sheaves
          Borne on the bier with white and bristly beard;
          夏季的绿苗都紧紧捆扎成束,
          带着白硬芒须被抬了去埋葬;
          Bier

          n .棺材,棺材架;
          Then of thy beauty do I question make
          That thou among the wastes of time must go,
          Since sweets and beauties do themselves for sake
          And die as fast as they see others grow;
          于是对于斧美貌我就开始担心,
          恐怕你要随着时间而被淘汰,
          因为美妙的事物总要蠲弃自身,
          很快的死去,看着别个生长起来;
          And nothing 'gainst Time's scy the can make defense
          Save breed, to brave him when he takes thee hence.
          时间的镰刀没人能够阻挡,
          除非是你被抓走,让孩子去抵抗。
