【虎虎日记】邂逅2.14：情人节快乐
哇哇哇…一年一度人见人爱、花见花开、佛见佛笑的情人节又要粉墨登场鸟 (汗，佛能过情人节嘛，这娃真是的…) 情人节有啥历史来源，有啥浪漫活动，各国情人节活动又有啥异同呢？哈哈~虎虎不依不饶缠着美女外教Alison老师问了老半天，Alison终于告诉偶啦！(点我进入Alison老师主页>>未注册用户点此注册先>>)
虽说这情人节年年都过，可对于它的来历神马，大家未必清楚吧！(对噢，每年就知道掏钱买礼物，还真没研究过这个问题馁╮(╯▽╰)╭)所以，虎虎请来了宇宙超级无敌美女外教Alison老师来告诉我们到底这“抢钱”的情人节是咋来的？
History of Valentine’s Day

The history of Valentine’s Day is quite dramatic and dates back to 300 AD in Rome, Italy. The Emperor Claudius II believed that single men were better soldiers than married men, so he forbid all young men to marry. A man named Valentine thought this was very wrong, so he continued to perform marriages in secret. When he was caught and put in prison to be killed, he sent the first “valentine” to his lover, signing the card “from your Valentine”. That phrase is still used today!
哇塞，这个叫Valentine的哥们太“蟀”啦~他的一封签名信就开启了后世的“情人节”哇！好吧，这国王也实在是太不近人情了，不准年轻男子结婚简直就是耍流氓嘛！(话说虎虎俺也是个血气方刚的帅小虎，幸亏没生在那啥年代，不然可就报销了俺这么俊俏滴脸哇！)
在中国，情人节貌似是成年人的专利节日 (虽然虎虎也偷偷看到校园里的小盆友偷偷送礼物给心仪的谁谁来着，pia~)。情人节前，各大花店，礼品店前总是人头攒动，各商家还会不失时机推出各种情人节活动来吸引广大恋着的和没恋着的人前来消费。不过，Alison老师告诉虎虎，在美国，情人节可是不论大人小孩都可以光明正大滴庆祝哟！在情人节这天，学校会为孩子们举办各式各样的party，大家都会事先准备个小盒子并在盒子顶部掏出个洞，猜猜这是用来干啥滴？(想知道吗？很想知道吗？真的想知道吗？…虎虎还是请Alison老师来告诉大家吧…)

Valentine’s Day Activities
Celebrating Valentine’s Day changes as you grow up. Children celebrate by having parties at school. Each child decorates a “valentine post box” and cuts a square hole in the top. Then, each child makes valentines for every classmate, which include candy and a card with a nice message or joke on it. At the school party, children deliver their valentines to all of the other valentine post boxes in the class. In high school and university, people still send each other cards, but chocolates and flowers from “secret admirers” are also common. Schools can also hold “sweetheart dances” or events like “date auctions” where people come to “bid money” for dates.
原来这盒子是用来装卡片的呀！看来高中生、大学生的情人节过法还是挺相似噢，都得烧钱去买巧克力和花，这年头男淫真的很辛苦哎！虎虎表示鸭梨很大！

出于纠结已久滴好奇，虎虎偶还弱弱地请教了Alison老师，是不是在情人节这天只能和自己的男盆友、女盆友出去约会呢？(遭鄙视了，不知道有错嘛？切，不知者无罪，偶是纯洁帝！)

But as you get older, Valentine’s Day becomes more serious and romantic. Every guy knows that if you take a girl out for Valentine’s Day, it means you’re pretty serious about her; it’s not a night for casual dates. Many guys feel pressure to plan an extra-special night and find the perfect gift.
经Alison老师一番指教，偶才知道2月14日这天最好还是不要随随便便就约个人出去，因为一旦约了女孩出去，那就说明是非常喜欢对方的，这可不是随随便便的盆友聚会噢！所以…虎虎决定今年情人节还是乖乖宅家看片子吧，╮(╯▽╰)╭免得引起不必要的纷争，哈哈！(干嘛，乃不信啊，偶要是一发情人节邀请函，那估计就会带动另一波春运高峰鸟~远处飞来一坨臭鸡蛋…pia~)

另外，Alison老师还告诉虎虎，她在英国留学的时候发现：原来英国和美国庆祝情人节的方式也是有很大区别哒。
From Country to Country

However, Valentine’s Day differs from country to county. In the US, people of all ages celebrate the holiday, while in England, Valentine’s Day is more popular among adults, and many people write or copy love poems to give to one another. In Italy, Valentine’s Day is only for lovers, and in Iceland, men and women celebrate on different days!
在美国，情人节是老少皆宜的节日(额…这话听得怎么就那么寒颤呐…)，但是在相对比较传统和保守的英国，情人节还是比较适合给成年人来过；另外，在意大利，情人节就纯粹是给恋人们过的；在爱尔兰，据说男女还会分别在不同日子庆祝情人节呢！真是忒神奇了！
虎虎听Alison老师说得一愣一愣的，还真米有想到这小小的情人节在不同国度还会受到不同待遇哇！
原本偶对它的认识一直都只是停留在花钱、花钱、花钱的基础上！好吧，这说明偶是只乖乖虎嘛，不掺和情人节的虎虎才是好虎虎…)

听Alison聊了这么多关于情人节的东东，偶突然有点激动，一种来自狗仔队的潜质在心底滋生…终于，偶忍不住问了Alison老师她是怎么过情人节滴。话一出口，Alison老师害羞得小脸都红了呢，然后…虎虎发现自己的脸更红了╮(╯▽╰)╭

I personally don’t have any romantic Valentine’s Day experiences yet, but my single friends are nice enough to let me celebrate “Singles’ Awareness Day” with them. Singles’ Awareness Day is another name for Valentine’s Day, and it’s a great excuse to get dressed up, get together with your girlfriends, go out for cocktails and desserts and enjoy being single and independent! The best part is that you get to pick out your own chocolates, so you don’t have to give away the ones you don’t like!
哈哈，原来情人节虎虎可以不用宅家看片子啦，因为虎虎要打扮得帅帅得去过“Singles’ Awareness Day”(“单身关注节”)啦！
