The Colombian writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez has died. He was 87. Garcia Marquez was best known for his 1967 novel 100 Years of Solitude which sold more than 20 million copies and was translated in over 30 languages. Garcia Marquez was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982.
