B: Be careful with him. He is a lady-killer; he’ll chew you up like gum and then spit you out.

B: 当心。他可是个会勾引女人的人。他会像嚼口香糖一样，先把你嚼一嚼，然后再把你吐出去。

A: It’s nice sitting here by the river, watching life amble past at its own pace.
B: And the college girls aren’t hard to look at either. I could stay here all day.

【语言点精讲】
lady-killer: 用来形容很受女士欢迎的男士。这样的男士通常有吸引人的外表，并别有吸引周围女性的注意的魅力。
amble: 缓缓地进行。
pace: 速度。
not hard to look at: 指某人外表很漂亮。这是一个褒义的短语，但是赞美的语气并不强。
