1.prod sb into doing sth.：提醒，劝说某人做某事
例如：Have you ever found yourself making a purchase as a way to try to prod yourself into taking a certain action? （你有没有买某一件东西来作为督促自己做出某一个特定行为的方法？）
He needs a crisis to prod him into action.（他要事到临头才被迫采取行动。）
