Deutsche Bank is Germany's biggest bank and it's involved in some pretty big scandals too. So much so that litigation and legal settlements costs plunged Deutsche Bank into the red in the last three months of last year. They posted a pre-tax loss of just over €1 billion for the period. News of the loss came on the same day that representatives from Germany's financial watchdog said they would visit the London offices of Deutsche Bank in connection with their investigation into manipulation of the currency markets.德意志银行是德国最大的银行，但其最近卷进了几起相当严重的丑闻中，严重到即使诉讼和庭外和解的费用已经使德意志银行在去年的近三个月里赤字连连。他们公布该时期的税前亏损已经超过10亿欧元。亏损曝出的当天，德国金融监督机构的代表表示，他们这次调查操控货币市场（的案件），将会走访与此相关的德意志银行伦敦分行。
