"To say that I thought it would be 40 years, or what really is going to turn out to be 50 or 60 years before Americans are back on the moon, I would not have guessed that at all."（我觉得这里有个小错误，但是我不太确定，are应该是were）当施密特和塞尔南在那年的12月19日返回地球的时候，他们没有想到，40年后他们会将那作为一个时代的结束而当做纪念。
