                05月27日:Keep your mind on your work.专心工作。
       
                1.keep one's mind on sth:专心于,专注于, 注意
                例如:Keep your mind on the job!(专心做你的工作!)
                        You ought to keep your mind on what you are doing.(你应当专心致志于你所做的工作。)
               
       
                05月28日:It's starting to cloud up.天开始阴了。
       
                1.cloud up:变模糊,变朦胧
                例如:The window has clouded up because of the steam.( 窗户因水蒸气已变得模糊不清。)
                        The smog clouded up our view.(烟雾使我们的视野变得朦胧。)
       
                05月29日:They will stoop to every low-down trick.他们什么卑劣的手段都使得出来。
       
                1.trick:诡计,骗局
                例如:He played a trick to get promoted.(为了升职他耍了诡计。)
                        It's a trick intended to ensnare. (这是一个诱人入陷阱的骗局。)
               
       
                05月30日:Mary and Ann were neck and neck in the spelling contest.玛丽和安在拼写比赛中的表现真是不分上下。
       
                1.neck and neck:不相上下,不分胜负,势均力敌
                例如:The horses were running neck and neck.(这些马跑得不分上下。)
                        The two contestants are neck and neck with 20 points each.(比赛双方各得20分,打成平局。)
       
                05月31日:He had racked his brain.他已绞尽了脑汁。
       
                1.rack one's brain:绞尽脑汁,努力思索
                例如:I rack my brain trying to remember the answer.(我绞尽脑汁想答案。)
                        She stopped and racked her brain.(她停下来苦苦思索。)
               
       
                06月01日:Lucy has a lot on the ball.露西很能干。
       
                1.have a lot on the ball:机灵,精明,很有能力,身手不凡
                例如:She has a lot on the ball.(她很有才干。)
                        He will do well in that work because he has a lot on the ball.(他会做好这件事,因为他很有一手。)
       
                06月02日:That boy never says uncle.那个孩子从不愿认输。
       
                1.say uncle:服输,认输
                例如:Although our class team was being beaten we wouldn't say uncle.(虽然我们的班队要被打败了,但我们不服输。)
                        I refused to say uncle no matter how they threatened me.(无论他们怎样吓唬我,我都不肯服输。)
