小D每日一句一周详解（01.28~02.03）01月28日：That car nearly hit me! That was too close for comfort.那辆车差点撞到我！真的好险。
1.too close for comfort：太过靠近，为寻安慰太过亲近
例如： The examinations are getting too close for comfort. I really must do some work.（考试迫在眉睫，我得赶紧着手准备了。）
The guy behind is too close for comfort!（在后面追赶的家伙逼得太紧了！）
01月29日：For o ne year she was not allowed to go outside.有一整年她不被允许出门。
1.allow：v. 允许，许可；给予，让…得到；承认；允许进入；接受；听任
例如：Please allow me to offer you my apologies.（请允许我向各位表示歉意。）
