1、为何模仿VOA；
（1）标准、饱满、夸张的发音，练就完美发音；
（2）慢速、优雅、霸气的语调，练就地道语调；
（3）节奏鲜明、抑扬顿挫，体验英语语言之美。
2、听VOA做练习：（正确答案反黑可见）
American Intelligence Report Predicts China will be World’s Leading Economic Power by 2030
From VOA Learning English, this is（1） IN THE NEWS in Special English.
A new American intelligence report this week（2） predicted Asia's economic power rising in the coming years. The report says that by the year（3） 2030, the United States will no longer be the superpower it is today. It says that no nation will have that kind of（4） influence, with power instead redirected to coalitions between countries.
The report comes from the National Intelligence Council of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. The document was（5） researched and written by experts from outside the government. They say the findings are meant to help policymakers in their long-term planning on（6） major issues.
The report says the world will look different by 2030. The economy in Asia will be larger than that of（7） North America and Europe combined. China will have the largest economy in the world. And the Chinese economy will be 140 percent greater than Japan's economy.
Some observers say China needs to（8） take steps before it can become the world's biggest economy. Patrick Chovanec is with Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management in Beijing. He believes that several things could affect the country's economic growth.
"China's growth is extremely resource dependent and those resources are becoming（9） scarcer and scarcer. In particular, water, in northern China, there is a growing scarcity of water, and that along with other resource constraints might limit China's（10） prospects of going forward."
3、分段模仿。
标准、饱满、夸张的发音，练就完美发音；
注意长元音、双元音的夸张饱满和短元音的节奏感；
慢速、优雅、霸气的语调，练就地道语调；
节奏鲜明、抑扬顿挫，体验英语语言之美；
4、模仿之后：提速。
5、最后，总结句子结构。
（1）The report says that by the year 2030, the United States will no longer be the superpower it is today.
...will no longer be ... it is today.
By the year 2050, Uncle Bear will no longer be the energetic cute uncle he is today.
（2）The economy in Asia will be larger than that of North America and Europe combined.
...will be 形容词比较级 than that of ... and ... Combined.
Uncle Bear is a tub of lard, he is heavier than (that of) Amy and Anna combined.
（3）In northern China, there is a growing scarcity of water, and that along with other resource constraints might limit China's prospects of going forward.
There is ... and that along with .... ......
(There is) a growing fear of the end of the world, (and that) along with other fears of not getting paid by the boss, getting beaten by the wife, or getting shouted at by the daughter might lead to suicide.
