Ghana are going to Brazil and they fully deserve it on the balance of this tie. They won it 7-3 on aggregate, with Egypt winning Tuesday's game in Cairo 2-1. Amr Zaki and Gedo with their goals, Kevin-Prince Boateng was on target for Ghana. The first half was played at frenetic pace. Egypt were willed on by an optimistic crowd who were getting the chance to watch international football in the capital for the first time in nearly two years. If they grabbed the second before half time, it might have been game on, but the break came at 1-0 and took the sting out of the game. Security was the major preoccupation before the match. A flare was thrown onto the pitch towards the end. Lasers were constantly aimed at the Ghanaian players. But the game passed off peacefully and Ghana will be very satisfied with their trip to Cairo.
