They believe it's too dangerous to play the game in Cairo. In a letter to football's world governing body FIFA, Ghana's FA has called for the match to be moved to a safe and secure venue. They say they fear for their players and supporters. BBC's Inas Mazhar is based in Cairo. She says security's been a top priority for the Egyptian FA and that's reflected in their choice of venue for the Ghana game.
"The Egyptian Football Association has selected a military stadium to host this game. This military stadium is a newly-built stadium which has hosted several matches in the past months for the national team, for Ahly, for Zamalek, it is a military stadium, it is very well-secured, it's an area, a new area called new Cairo in the fifth Settlement in Cairo, so it's really very safe, very far away, and very well controlled and secured by the military.
