It's Sunday, September 15th, 1963. And 12-year-old schoolgirl Sarah Collins, is on her way to the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, with her older sister Addie Mae, who's 14.
One thing about her, she was very timid, and you can hurt of fearless. She, she was a peacemaker, in the family.
The church is a meeting point for civil rights campaigners as they focus on Birmingham. Martin Luther King sometimes preaches here.
