The Government of Panama is putting together a plan to protect a remote forest in the west of the country from proposed exploitation. Before it can act, the government needs to know what rare and endangered species the forest supports. To chart an unmapped and barely explored region like this the government has turned to the world leaders the British Natural History Museum.
