一个叫莫西的女孩失踪了，Jane断定罪犯是女孩的父亲，导致该父亲被伤心欲绝的妻子枪杀。Jane被停薪留职。
两周后，Lisbon接手了一个新案子，凶手在犯罪现场留下一张用鲜血画的笑脸，这是不是Jane的仇人——血腥约翰做的呢？
