100,000 protesters crowded into the streets of eight Brazilian cities, including Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. They are angry about poor public services and the costs of hosting sporting events.
And police in Truckee, California are using stand-up paddle boards to patrol area waterways. Officers say the boards help them patrol Donner Lake without intimidating visitors.
